Periodontal care

Periodontal care involves the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and jawbone. These diseases cause teeth to loosen and fall out at the most advanced stage.

Periodontal treatments include subgingival scaling, root planing, curettage and grafting, all of which are carried out in the practice. Periodontology can also be used for aesthetic purposes, when a gum graft is used to correct a gingival defect or recession.
